This week long intensive cooking workshop introduces teens to cuisines from around the world —- from Japanese sushi (learning to prepare the rice from scratch) to French Coq Au Vin . Classes are patterned after professional culinary classes- here, they learn knife skills on day 1, keeping their station organized, the concept of “mise en place” and understanding ingredients . They learn culinary concepts while they traverse through different food cultures through cooking. The week culminates in a secret ingredient box competition.
