Learn how to build and care for your own sourdough starter, understand the visual clues that reveal whether it's healthy or needs attention, and gain the confidence to troubleshoot common problems along the way.
Using a mature starter, you'll mix, fold, shape, and bake a rustic sourdough loaf in class while preparing a second loaf to take home for its final proof and bake. We'll cover fermentation, scoring, and baking techniques for achieving a crisp crust and flavorful crumb.
Each participant will leave with a sourdough starter, a loaf you’ll start making in class and continue baking at home.
Class is limited to only 8 participants.
