Paella Valenciana is a traditional Spanish dish, typically enjoyed in large gatherings—such as our paella & tapas class! When prepared in the Valencian style, as we will do, this savory communal entrée combines the flavors of rice, lobster stock , chicken, spanish chorizo, mussles, shrimps, pimenton , saffron, and vegetables.
We will then prepare delicious accompanying tapas dishes including Croquetas de jamón y queso (ham and cheese croquettes) with Aioli, Ensaladilla Mixta , ( mesclun, tuna, tomatoes, artichokes, olives, hard boiled eggs with sherry vinaigrette) Gambas Al Ajillo, ( shrimp poached in garlic olive oil) , and Jamón Serrano y Manchego (cheese) con Membrillo (quince jam)
